Seiwakai

Seiwa Kai is one of the largest member branches of JKF Goju Kai in the world. The World headquarters is in Japan, headed by founder Shuji Tasaki (8th dan Hanshi). Tasaki Shihan was the senior student of Gogen Yamaguchi. Isao Yabunaka (7th dan Kyoshi), also a direct student of Yamaguchi Shihan, is the head of the Canadian branch of Seiwa Kai and the most senior representative in North America.

The members of Seiwakai Canada are proud in their study of Goju Ryu. We share a culture of solidarity, building mutual support for one another. With fortitude and plain spirit we strive to reach our personal best, maintaining the spirit of Traditional Japanese Budo. All Seiwakai dojos are independantly run organizations. This includes sole proprietorships, not-for profit dojos, and municipal recreation dojos.
